Alina, from Ukraine, and her Australian partner Mat perform a duet on aerial straps displaying strength, flexibility and tenderness. Their romantic aerial number is a mesmerizing combination of technique and artistry, twirling and flying high above the heads of their captivated audience.
After solo careers spanning circuses, varietes and festivals, Mathew & Alina met while working in Japan and quickly developed a personal & professional relationship, culminating in their marriage and their act, “Soft Black Stars”, which they have performed in numerous venues around the world.
